Professor Barkley Whistleton III is a legendary explorer, adventurer, and founding member of The Pawthfinders Guild, he's the one who first charted the now-forgotten edges of Tailterra before retiring to serve as a mentor to the next generation. Once known as "The Pup Who Mapped the Roarlands", Barkley is a bit grizzled, a lot wise, and full of half-true tales about sneaking past temple traps, befriending giant owls, and discovering ancient maps made of barkskin parchment. Despite his age and short stature, he still has the spark of adventure in his eyes—and a nose that can sniff out danger and treasure.
